I have spent more than two decades working directly with students, families and schools throughout the Central Okanagan School District. My experience spans elementary, middle and secondary schools, giving me a firsthand understanding of the people, challenges and opportunities within our public education system.

As an Indigenous Student Advocate and the School District's first Indigenous Wellness Worker, I have spent more than two decades listening to students and families and helping them navigate the challenges they face. I currently serve on the School District's Indigenous Education Council representing the Kelowna Metis Association.

I am running for School Trustee because our students deserve a strong voice at the board table: a voice that listens, understands and takes action.

I have seen firsthand the issues affecting our classrooms, including class sizes, school safety, inclusion, educational supports, and youth mental health and wellness.

Behind every policy decision is a student, family, teacher or support worker whose life can be affected.

I believe trustees need to listen carefully, ask difficult questions, work collaboratively and focus on practical solutions that make a meaningful difference for students and families.
