I am a proud member of this community who is deeply invested in its future. With decades of experience as a community organizer, public sector advocate, and labour leader, I bring a strong understanding of governance, advocacy, and the importance of giving people a meaningful voice in decisions that affect them. I believe our students deserve safe, inclusive, and well-supported public schools, and our community deserves a trustee who will listen, ask questions, and be a strong and unapologetic advocate for public education.

I will advocate for publicly funded, accessible and affordable before and after school childcare in our schools, and work relentlessly to ensure that there is appropriate funding, staffing and infrastructure to make reliable, high-quality care available to working families.

I will advocate for school district budgets that put students first by investing in the school staff, programs, and supports they rely on, while addressing recruitment, retention, workplace safety, and growing student needs. And I will listen to families, education workers, and the community before making decisions.

Every student and school worker deserves a safe, respectful environment. I will make safety a governance priority by listening to frontline experiences, strengthening prevention and accountability, advocate for adequate resources and training, and hold senior leadership responsible for effective health and safety systems.
