Kristina Brown is a Maple Ridge resident, business owner and mother who is running for Maple Ridge Council.
Kristina is running for Council because she believes Maple Ridge needs practical, independent leadership and a focus on fiscal responsibility in these economic times.

Kristina was born and raised in Maple Ridge, attending Fairview Elementary and Westview Secondary. After spending approximately 13 years living in Vancouver, she returned to Maple Ridge, where she has chosen to raise her family and has called Silver Valley home for many years.

With more than 20 years of experience in real estate, Kristina currently operates her own brokerage. She holds a Diploma in Marketing Management with a specialization in Commercial Real Estate from BCIT, an Associate Broker’s licence and a Managing Broker’s licence.

Throughout her career, Kristina has built a reputation for integrity, professionalism and attention to detail. Her work requires her to understand complex financial information, assess risk, negotiate, navigate regulations and help clients make informed decisions about significant financial investments.

Kristina is running for Council because she believes Maple Ridge needs practical, independent leadership. She believes Council should ask difficult questions, understand the full financial implications of major decisions and ensure taxpayer dollars are spent responsibly.

She supports thoughtful growth, strong neighbourhoods, quality community amenities and a thriving local business community. At the same time, she believes projects must be appropriately scaled and financially sustainable, particularly at a time when residents are facing increasing costs.

Kristina is committed to listening to residents, working collaboratively and bringing a practical, financially responsible perspective to Council.
