Biography
Alioune Sarr et ses jumeaux garçons adolescents vivent fièrement dans l’Ouest-de-l’Île de Montréal depuis 2011.

Au cours de ses études doctorales, il a dû choisir entre poursuivre ses études ou aller au Canada pour chercher de meilleures opportunités. Il a choisi le Canada
Fort de 25 ans d’expérience en finance d’entreprise et en banque, Alioune a occupé des postes de haut niveau, notamment en tant que vice-président et directeur des finances, au sein de grandes multinationales dans les secteurs des biens de consommation et de la banque telles qu’Unilever, Beiersdorf et Citigroup. Expert en finance, en stratégies de tarification et en économie démographique, il s’inspire d’économistes tels que Milton Friedman et Thomas Sowell pour allier réflexion stratégique et solutions concrètes. Communicateur hors pair, Alioune sait rendre les concepts financiers complexes accessibles à tous.
En dehors de sa carrière, Alioune se passionne pour la géopolitique, le libre-échange et les politiques économiques solides ainsi que la cuisine et les voyages. Il s’implique activement dans sa communauté, notamment en enseignant des notions de finance de base aux nouveaux arrivants via le Centre Communautaire Bon Courage de Place Benoît à Montréal, couvrant des sujets comme les hypothèques, les cartes de crédit et les prêts à la consommation.
