Le Bloc Québécois portera la demande du gouvernement du Québec voulant que les actions du fédéral en matière de climat soient complémentaires à celles du Québec, plutôt que concurrentes, et réaffirme, comme l’a écrit Québec à Ottawa, « la nécessité d’entamer rapidement des discussions en vue de conclure une entente de transfert au Québec de sa juste part des fonds pour les programmes qui dédoublent et chevauchent ses initiatives ».

Le Bloc Québécois proposera d’instaurer un test climat, afin que

chaque décision fédérale soit évaluée en fonction de

son alignement avec l’objectif de l’Accord de Paris

visant à limiter l’augmentation de la température

mondiale à 1,5 °C. Ce test climat inclura l’obligation

d’évaluer des critères de justice environnementale, de

sobriété énergétique et d’exemplarité de l’État.

Le Bloc Québécois luttera pour l’imposition d’un plafonnement des

émissions des GES du secteur canadien du pétrole et

du gaz qui engendrera chaque année une réduction

réelle de la pollution par le carbone d’ici 2030.
