Biography
Je suis native de Port-Cartier et j’ai passé mon enfance à Rivière-Vachon, près de l’élevage de visons que ma famille exploitait à l’époque. Durant la crise économique du début des années 1980, nous avons déménagé à Sept-Îles. L’histoire de ma famille et de mes proches s’est écrite dans le milieux du commerce et de la construction de la Côte-Nord.
À mon tour, j’ai suivi un parcours entrepreneurial. Diplômée en gestion au collégial, je me suis lancée en affaires, apprenant chaque jour à relever les défis avec des solutions concrètes et dynamiques. J’ai mis toute mon énergie à développer des idées, bâtir un foyer et prendre soin des autres. À un moment charnière de ma vie, j’ai souhaité m’impliquer davantage dans ma communauté et, en parallèle de mon travail, j’ai entrepris des études universitaires en économie et en science politique.
En 2021, j’ai fait mes premiers pas en politique municipale en étant élue conseillère municipale pour représenter le secteur côtier où je vis toujours avec mon fils. Cette expérience m’a permis de défendre les intérêts de mes concitoyens et de contribuer à des projets concrets pour notre communauté.
Je suis profondément reconnaissante de vivre dans une région aussi vaste, magnifique et libre que la nôtre. Protéger et développer notre coin de pays est au cœur de mon engagement en politique fédérale. Je crois fermement qu’il est essentiel de soutenir nos petites entreprises, de renforcer notre économie régionale et de garantir l’accès à des services de qualité pour que nos régions restent dynamiques et vivantes.
Fière de porter les grandes valeurs du Parti conservateur du Canada, je suis honorée d’avoir été choisie pour représenter notre chef, Pierre Poilievre, dans notre circonscription de Côte-Nord–Kawawachikamach–Nitassinan.
