Biography
Dynamique et passionnée, Adrienne Charles fait le saut en politique dans le but d’aider ses concitoyens et concitoyennes dans leurs combats et défis quotidiens.
Très impliquée sur le plan communautaire, elle a le bien-être de sa communauté à cœur. Elle participe et collabore régulièrement à la mise en place de colloques, conférences et autres activités d’enjeux sociaux destinés à la prévention et à la promotion de la santé physique et mentale. Son réel souci pour la santé publique l’a amené à implanter au sein de sa communauté une collecte de sang, animer une émission diffusée sur le web pour faire de la sensibilisation face à une maladie génétique incurable, et bien plus encore.
Diplômée en analyses biomédicales, elle a suivi un cours universitaire en gestion des services de santé et des services sociaux. Elle est membre de l’Ordre professionnelle des technologistes médicaux du Québec, a déjà obtenu une certification du National Credentialing Agency (NCA) aux États-Unis et à réussi le RT de la Société canadienne des sciences de laboratoire médicale (SCSLM). Elle a participé à l’amélioration des services et à l’optimisation des processus dans le but d’améliorer la performance, d’augmenter la qualité et la satisfaction de la clientèle dans l’organisation où elle a évolué.
Elle a représenté bon nombre de personne de son entourage dans leurs litiges avec différentes instances. Autodidacte, elle a deux romans de publiés à son actif.
Adrienne Charles a travaillé près de 25 ans dans le domaine de la biologie médicale, volet clinique, dans un hôpital pédiatre avant de faire le saut en éducation. Elle a enseigné les sciences au secondaire et œuvre maintenant au primaire.
