Biography
Gurvir Khaira is a 24-year-old University of Guelph alum where he graduated with distinction with a Bachelor of Arts in Hons. Criminal Justice & Public Policy. He is also currently in law school and has worked various jobs as an everyday worker; from retail, to building cars, general labour, and being a Pre-Board Screening Officer in YYZ.
He is ready to axe the tax, build the homes, fix the budget and stop the crime to bring prosperity back to Guelph.
“After 9 years of Trudeau, with NDP support, Canadians have been continuously punished with an unfair carbon tax, the inability to purchase a home to live in, with inflationary spending unseen in the history of this nation, and with a catch-and-release system that has made crime rampant on our streets. It is time we bring home powerful paycheques once again, it is time we give ourselves a chance to raise a family in a decent home, it is time we put an end to this exorbitant spending, it is time we bring back jail, not bail, for criminals” said Gurvir.
