Sam Wang is a Chartered Professional Accountant and financial executive with decades of experience in corporate leadership, financial management, and public-company oversight. A Richmond resident for more than 30 years, Sam is committed to making City Hall more accountable, transparent, efficient, and financially disciplined.

As a Director and Chair of the Finance Committee at the Richmond Centre for Disability, Sam has demonstrated leadership in responsible governance, fiscal accountability, and community service.

As a City Councillor, Sam will:

• Strengthen oversight of City finances, procurement, contracts, conflicts of interest, and administrative performance.

• Improve government efficiency by reducing waste, streamlining processes, and improving service delivery.

• Keep annual property-tax increases at or below inflation and freeze mayoral, councillor, and senior-management salaries for four years.

• Make Richmond safer by supporting effective action against crime.

• Promote economic growth by supporting local businesses, attracting investment, and creating jobs.
