I am a lifelong Winnipegger, and proud Green Party candidate running to bring real change to Winnipeg South Centre. I’ve been happily married for 27 years to my lovely wife, Tammy. Together we’ve had the honour of raising our 23 year old daughter, Elise.

I have spent much of my career working in the retail and manufacturing sectors, most recently with Safeway/Sobeys, where I also served as a Shop Steward with UFCW Local 832, standing up for fairness in the workplace and supporting fellow employees.

I attended Dakota Collegiate, and like many Canadians, I know that real-life experience often teaches more than textbooks. I’ve seen firsthand how families in Winnipeg are struggling to make ends meet—juggling rising rents, growing grocery bills, and unaffordable health care costs.

I have particularly strong feelings about:

– I would fight to prioritizing the climate crisis head-on with real investments in clean energy, green jobs, and sustainability, as we have seen the rising cost and effects of climate change continue.

– I would work to modernizing our broken electoral system by replacing First-Past-the-Post with proportional representation, so every vote counts.

– Every Canadian deserves the chance to live a good life—regardless of age or income.
I will work to create universal, affordable child care, make post-secondary tuition-free, and introduce a Guaranteed Livable Income to ensure no one is forced to live in poverty.

– People with disabilities deserve respect, opportunity, and real support—not just promises. I will fix the Disability Tax Credit to make it accessible, fully fund the Canada Disability Benefit to end disability poverty, and enforce strong protections for disabled workers across the country.

I bring lived experience, a deep connection to the community, and a belief that Canada can—and must—do better.
