Biography
Michel Le Comte is a seasoned political organizer, entrepreneur, and naturopath with decades of experience in advocacy, communications, and business leadership. His career spans student activism, public policy, political communications, and the natural health industry.
His journey into politics began in the student movement, where he played a key role in shaping policy, including contributing to the passage of Quebec’s Bill 32 on student association dues. As Director General of the Regroupement des Associations Étudiantes Universitaires du Québec (RAEU), he led efforts to secure stable university funding and organized the first general congress of Quebec’s university student movement.
Le Comte later served in key political roles, including as a political attaché for a Quebec Liberal MNA and as a senior communications strategist for the Quebec Liberal Party. His work included drafting speeches for the Premier, coordinating party conventions, and supporting policy development during the Meech Lake and Charlottetown Accord debates.
In the private sector, he built a successful career in natural health products, holding leadership roles in marketing and sales for major companies like Atrium Innovations. His efforts helped drive industry growth, earning multiple award nominations and industry recognitions. He also dedicated over two decades to naturopathic education and practice, serving on the executive of the Association des Naturopathes Agréés du Québec (ANAQ) and advocating for professional standards.
A committed environmentalist, Le Comte is actively involved in local conservation efforts and previously ran as a Green Party candidate in the federal election. He continues to champion sustainable development, regional economic growth, and public health initiatives through his business Naturophare.com and community involvement.
