I have a B.Ed. Degree in Education & a M.Ed. Degree in Counselling Psychology from University of Victoria. I have worked in schools most of my life… as a teacher but mostly as a School Counsellor.

I also worked in Human Resources for Crofton Pulp & Paper and at Vancouver School Board as an HR manager. I’ve also worked at a large, online school for 10 years as a school counsellor. Until this year I’ve continued to respond to requests from Sooke District, for me to replace school counsellors for the last 9 years.
I love working in education.
I grew up in Cowichan & I would love to work with the wonderful people on the board to enhance the programs & service for the students and staff in Cowichan Schools.

I would love to work with the members of the school board to remedy problems & provide help to the schools throughout the district. I believe I have the experience that may help the school board.
I’ve worked in 4 BC school districts. I’ve learned a lot about the needs & priorities of school districts.
