Burnaby shaped who I am. I grew up and went to school here, watching my father serve generations of families for 50 years from his Metrotown barbershop. His greatest lesson: listen first.

I bring practical leadership experiences from classroom to boardroom - as a teacher, principal, Western Canada manager, COO of BC Diabetes, and Edmonds Business and Community Association director. I've served on Burnaby's Social Issues committee and supported the City/s outreach program.

Three degrees and Wharton studies prepared me to lead, but my greatest education came from listening to Burnaby's stories - in neighbourhoods, on buses and in small businesses.

I'm running for mayor to improve transportation and infrastructure, make everyday life easier - not harder, respect every tax dollar, attract corporate headquarters and good paying jobs, and expand rent-to-own housing to improve affordability and restore hope.
