Biography

submitted by the candidate or their team
Jennyfer Cassar is a Delta entrepreneur, business leader, parent and community volunteer running for Delta City Council with Achieving for Delta.

She is focused on strengthening the local economy, listening to residents, supporting families and bringing collaborative, fiscally responsible leadership to City Hall.

Jennyfer lives in Tsawwassen with her husband and three children. Her children attend school in Delta, she volunteers actively in the community, and she has built her professional life here. For Jennyfer, the decisions made at City Hall are personal because they affect the neighbourhoods, schools, businesses and community her family relies on every day.

An experienced entrepreneur, Jennyfer has founded, operated and sold two successful businesses in Delta and currently serves as Owner and Director of Dogwood Montessori Inc. She has also worked closely with Delta’s business community as Stakeholder and Membership Engagement Manager with the Delta Chamber of Commerce, connecting local businesses, community organizations and decision-makers.

Jennyfer is the founder and facilitator of the Delta Women’s Network, creating opportunities for women to build connections, develop leadership skills and support one another. Her community involvement also includes serving as Executive Chair of the École South Park PAC, volunteering with the Tsawwassen Sun Festival and coaching with TABA.

Her experience has taught her that effective leadership requires more than good intentions. It requires listening carefully, planning ahead, managing resources responsibly and working constructively with people who may not always agree.

If elected, Jennyfer will bring a resident-first approach to Council. She believes decisions should reflect the distinct needs of Delta’s communities while balancing immediate concerns with long-term impacts. Her priorities include economic development, responsible financial management, meaningful public engagement and ensuring residents have a strong voice as Delta grows and changes.
