Good Governance

To focus on bringing voices together.
In a time where politics can be divisive, I want to be a leader who works to unite diverse voices in order to do our work effectively.

In 2025, I campaigned amongst my peers (the BC School Trustees Association Annual General Assembly) for a seat to represent them at the provincial table. A focus of my platform at this time was to challenge division in urban vs. rural narratives- both have respective strengths and challenges and one of our most powerful tools in advocacy is working together.

Youth Engagement

To continue to centre student voice.
In my experience in my first term, student voice has grown significantly to where students have championed projects that actually lead in other parts of the province.

This past spring, I have witnessed wonderful innovations led by students in our school district, such as their new communications plan. It's a privilege to witness and be a trustee who values and centres this work.

Reason for running

submitted by the candidate or their team
I am choosing to run for a second term because I'm proud of the record I have had during my first term as well as my ability to be a part of a team that can deliver good governance. There is more work to do and I see a true opportunity to continue building in a good way.
