Reah grew up in Burnaby's Westridge neighbourhood where her family ran a small business for over a decade. She saw first-hand what can happen when governments make deep cuts to services, and dedicated herself to pushing for for progressive policies to help workers and families.

Tara is a passionate advocate for environmental and social justice and has been involved with many campaigns for a sustainable just economy She played a pivotal role in the All-on-Board campaign, making transit free for all children 0-12. Social justice is Climate justice.
