As a mother and a former school trustee, I'm grateful to have the opportunity to serve as the MLA for Burnaby-Lougheed and Minister of State for Child Care since 2017 - and to lead the creation of an inclusive, affordable, quality child care system in BC.

Dominique was born in Toronto, Ontario and grew up in a lower income area. She was raised by her recently immigrated single mom. Dominique graduated High School in 2008, with honors, and carried out her post-Secondary Education at Sheridan Institute of technology in Ontario.
