Giorgio Mammoliti has an extensive political history. He served as the NDP Member of Provincial Parliament for the former riding of Yorkview. While MPP Giorgio served as Parliamentary Assistant to the Solicitor General, Minister of Correctional Services, and the Minister of Health where he assisted in drafting a provincial anti-drug strategy.

Mammoliti has also served on both the North York and Toronto City Councils. In his 18-year tenure on Toronto City Council, Mammoliti chaired a number of important committees including Parks & Environment, Community Development & Recreation, Affordable Housing, and the Toronto Zoo. He was also a member of Toronto Mayor Rob Ford’s Executive Committee, as well as serving on the Toronto Region Conservation Authority and The Hockey Hall of Fame Committee.

In 2018, Mammoliti moved to Wasaga Beach in Simcoe—Grey. He enjoys the outdoors, cooking, and most importantly, being with family.
