Biography
My journey started in India. First, I completed a Bachelor of Arts, followed by a Bachelor of Education. Then, I pursued a Master of Arts, followed by a Master of Philosophy in Linguistics. After that, I undertook a Junior Research Fellowship, and subsequently, I spent six years teaching at a government college. In 2010 I immigrated to Canada. I took up a career in mechanics. After 9 years of hardwork, I earned myself a red seal in heavy duty mechanics. Then I worked at the CP railway. After 3 years, I decided to start my own diesel mechanic shop in Abbotsford along with my partner. At the same time I raised my 3 children. Soon after we moved to Mission. I have been living here for 5 years and have fell in love with our community. I have been engaged in volunteer work promoting sports. I advocate for the physical and mental well-being of our children. As a citizen I am always willing to do whatever I can for our community.
Reason for running
I was motivated to put my name forward for school trustee because of my kids. Their future matters deeply to me, and I care just as much about the futures of other children in our community. I want to ensure that each child feels safe, has good education, and feels valued and cared for in our community.
