I grew up on a farm, worked hard and accumulated a lot of common sense during my life and through work experience.

I have been on many boards and know for sure that anyone who puts their name forward to be a trustee knows the work is extensive.I am a candidate who is not afraid to work hard for students. As a board we must keep the student's learning as the only goal.

I am a candidate who can work with anyone, taking many ideas and forming the best idea to achieve student success.

I am an excellent listener. I want to hear from students, parents, teacher assistance, teachers and administrators , so I can understand the diverse issues they are dealing with day to day. They are the people on the front line.

When i decided to become a trustee I was very focused on school safety for students , teachers assistants and teachers everyone involved in the school. I know if you don't feel safe no one can work or learn successfully.

I have listened to SD57 trustee board meetings and realize there are many issues on the table regularly and limited funds. As a northern school district we must continually ask for more funding to fulfill these issues.

I don't have all the answers but I am willing to work hard, do research, and work with the rest of the team for the success of the students.
